Where science and real motherhood actually meet.

Hey, I’m Jessica.

I had three babies in two years. Now I’m raising three toddlers, two of them twins.

Nothing stretched me more. Not only as a mother, but as a woman, a partner, and someone who has spent her entire career studying human behavior. Motherhood intensified everything inside me and forced me to use every skill I had taught for years.

Before I became a mother, I spent years working directly with families in homes, clinics, hospitals, and schools. I supported parents, teachers, and children, including kids with autism, developmental disabilities, and significant behavioral needs. I helped people understand the connection between their inner world and the behavior we see on the outside.

My work has always focused on the same goal:
helping people understand what is happening inside themselves so they can show up with more clarity and steadiness on the outside.

Motherhood changed the way I understood this work.

The tools I had spent years teaching became tools I had to use in the hardest moments. I used them while exhausted, overstimulated, stretched thin, and caring for three very young children.

I created Be Mom Your Way because I needed a place to talk about the parts of motherhood no one prepares you for.

The pressure.
The misalignment.
The identity shifts.
The emotional load.
The moments your body reacts before your mind catches up.
The confusion about why you feel what you feel.
The moments you love your kids deeply and still feel overwhelmed by how loud and demanding everything is.

I also realized how many skills I use daily that most mothers have never been taught, even though these skills make everyday life feel more manageable.

This is where practical science and real motherhood meet.

I blend behavioral science, ACT, and honest stories from my lived experience to help mothers understand their inner world so they can respond with more steadiness, choice, and clarity.

I practice these skills every day, right alongside you.
